As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

Should be the Church's Known Position on War

This is a tragedy for the Church. It's great compromise. Just who should we think we are in Christ. We may be a priest, an evangelist or a lay person but we above all are a representive of the Kingdom of God. We are not representives of this world's governments. If the world wants to be like the church then we are getting somewhere but the Church should not be like the world. The tragedy is that the Church, that is the body of Christ has not established itself opposing all violence and all war. That should be the KNOWN position of the Church worldwide. Where do you think our compromised position on violence leads us. That's right, just part way taking downward pressure off of war. The church compromised itself on this issue long ago in Rome and in Europe and look what the world and the Church has had to go through since then. It did not have to be this way but now we have written our own history. Still with each waking day we have a chance to get it right, to follow and PROMOTE the teachings of Jesus without amendment. The disciples and apostles believed it to their very deaths. They did not form armies or defend with violence. Paul did not use his military experience to the promotion of Christ or to protect the believers. The point is the Church should not consider itself any part of this world, but only IN this world unblemished as a representive of and leading toward the Kingdom of God.
