As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

Analysis and Reality of Donald Trump's Best Paragraph From His Inauguration Speech

"we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people.
For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have bore the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered but the jobs left and the factories closed.
The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land."

That all sounds good, in fact very good but words are cheap with regard to Trump. What the underlined means or should mean is that the elite, the rich, the corporate ownership have reaped the benefits of globalization and cheaper labor meaning greater profits for themselves while at the same time these same maintain stagnant wages for the rest of us. You think it should mean that and you just have to believe it must mean that but Trump spoke these words in front of these people. Trump himself said he is against any real minimum wage increase. If Trump had been president instead of FDR wages would have remained stagnant because he would have opposed unions and so the people would not have experienced the overall improvement of the middle class.
Nothing more will happen here. In fact Trump is against reforming money in politics, that is why all the Republicans can stand to stand behind him and smile. They know. You don't. Trump opposes repeal of Citizens United(screwed) which allows unlimited money from the rich to influence our elections and most importantly our congressman that pass the laws that COULD bring the rich into account. This, despite any other talk out there by Trump, means no campaign finance reform for all the corrupt political money out there. Actions speak louder than words.

Trump would have to favor these reforms along with repealing Citizens United(screwed) to really intend on draining the swamp but look before your very eyes. He appointed the head of Citizens United as a deputy campaign manger. He has appointed Big Wall Street, Big Oil and Billionaires to his cabinet. He says one thing and you want to believe but you cannot believe he means just the opposite but he does in so many cases. These cabinet appointees are hard right wing ideologues of which some have sworn to eliminate the very departments Trump has appointed them to and if these departments are "retooled" they will be retooled to effectuate the will of the rich and powerful.

All that Trump means from the inauguration paragraph above is that he will end some of the free trade abuses and this is a good thing and long overdue but it is a bold faced lie that he is giving any power back to the people. As long as money can buy off YOUR congressman your vote will be effectively neutralized and power WILL NOT BE GIVEN BACK TO THE PEOPLE. I will say it again; he favors Citizens United(screwed) and so thusly opposes campaign finance reform. And again this is why all the pitiful corporate suckling pig congressman stand behind with big smiles. They also know that Trump will put in a Supreme Court judge that will oppose reforming "their" money in politics. Yea, big smiles all.

Some Bernie Sanders supporters got sucked into this but they see their error with Trump's extreme right wing cabinet appointees. Many Sanders deceived are already flocking in waves to Trump Regrets

I will say one thing for Trump so far, he seems to be(isn't it sad we have to say "seems to be") taking action on his general vision of returning jobs to the country but returning jobs is not returning power to the people and if power is not returned to the people, the people will not share in the wealth of an "America first" because the people will not be able to create unions that will give themselves real leverage in bargaining with business management.
Corporations have experienced record profits for the last 15 years and have shown NO willingness to let that prosperity be shared with the workforce as is attested to by stagnant wages for the last 15 years.

Power will only be returned to the people when they truly get their government back and as long as those in power oppose reforming unlimited money in elections which buys off congressman there will be no giving back power, no giving back government to the people. The result is the people will not be able to formulate and strengthen unions through THEIR congress to give them leverage for fair wages relative to a corporation's prosperity. That is not a theory, that is at least a 15 years proven fact.

At least a 15 years proven fact.
