As i mentioned before prophecies from a couple of Christian "prophets" held up by many to have never been wrong before prophesied the 2016 election would be cancelled and that Obama would show his wickedness in his final days by scheming with Muslims to cause a terrorist incident that would allow him to continue his presidency by declaring martial law and all the while flying a Muslim flag over the White House.
Not that I needed this "prophet" to be correct nor had I even heard of her before this 1977 vision awakened but why do we always have to go over the deep end when it comes to prophecies.
The most prominent of these "prophets" seemed to be relatively apolitical in their previous predictions and that gave her credibility at least to me but coming up to this election the extreme religious right swamp fever seemed to creep in and take hold of these "prophets" pushing them over into a wacko accusatory attitude of demonizing President Obama as wicked, the anti-Christ, up to no good and ready to close down the Christian churches.
I mean does the repressed racism creep in so bad that they have to finally relieve it by goring and poking with their pitchforks and torches the first black president before he even shuffles out the door. Sure Obama is misled on several issues particularly pushing gay marriage but I have watched politics for a long time and I can tell if a president is so off base as to deserve the kind of demonization he gets.
I guess if you think taking climate change seriously and trying to provide affordable health insurance to the poor is the anathematic abomination of the ages then maybe all the virulent criticism is logical. Otherwise I suggest that such irrationality is maintained, among other things, by a true racism.
Truly the extreme vitriol makes no sense and it has crept in and tainted at least one Christian that heretofore had a perfect prophetic voice.
