i wonder who the whore of BABYON is?

At this point in time it would appear to be America. In Revelation Babylon the Great is described as being a great economic power. A power that did business with all the kings and merchants of the earth and they prospered doing business with her. So much that they mourned greatly when they saw her destruction.

Revelation says that the Whore will ride on the back of the Beast. Could it be that the economic culture of America is the latter day part of Mystery Babylon and the government that supports it, the beast of Rev. 13. Never in the history of the world has there been a government like the U.S. and the book of Rev. says the beast will come to change ways and traditions. It is a govenment determined by the people as opposed to the historical tradition of a King or God. It says the world will follow after the image of the beast. The image of the beast is it's government and almost all the world has followed after by adopting democracy. Democracy is a government making MAN the final arbitor of what is right & wrong, that is at the ballot box and in the form of juries. History has never before seen this. Before the U.S. the world was replete with Kings inspired by God through the Catholic church or men as gods such as Rome or the Aztecs etc. The U.S. in essence has replaced God with the authority of man. In the Bible the number of man is 6. The number of God is 3. Man as god would be 666. Like it or not our government in essence is based on what you decide at the ballot box. You decide, the majority decides what is right and wrong and in so doing a culture has been created that has promoted and exported more moral decadence, pornography across the face of the earth in such a rapid way as to make Sodom & Gomorrah look benign.

The book of Revelation also says those on the earth will say "Who can make war with the beast?" We know it and acknowledge it all the time. Who would dare make war with the U.S. Never since the time when the whole earth could communicate together has there been so clearly an all encompassing world power as the U.S.

Revelations says The beast will make fire come down from the heavens. Consider that back in those days no man even seriously considered man flying through the sky. How do you think they would describe fiery bombs being dropped from above. No nation even comes close to the number of bombs dropped by the U.S. not to mention the incinerating nuclear bombs dropped on Japan. Today we hold this nuclear capability over all the world. Who can make war with us.
