As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

Will America Yield To The Senator From Exxon-Mobil

If the U.S. Supreme Court cannot rule any wiser than to allow corporations and multi-national conglomerates, the wealthiest entities on the face of the earth, to spend all they want on media wide political campaign commercials that influence elections then this country is in for a load of trouble. How misguided can a judicial body be? The Founding Fathers of the nation, even though there was not an established mega mass media at the time nor a massive corporate business infrastructure, expressed concern about the power of corporations to influence politics. From Abraham Lincoln to Teddy Roosevelt to John F. Kennedy to today, presidents have expressed serious concern about excessive corporate power but five rightwing judges placed on the Supreme Court all by presidents Reagan and Bush have turned all that concern on it's head by ruling for unprecedented expansion of corporate power and influence. The danger of course is that Money will come to rule the day and safeguards against financial debacles such as the complete economic collapse of 2008 will once again become the pariah of politicians under a re-emerging hyper pro-money bee-hive mentality. In order to curry favorable campaign commercials from mega corporations politicians will shape their agenda accordingly and those that will not shape their agenda to favor the will of the corporation will be rapidly diminished. If the interest of the common good requires restraint by corporations then that interest for the common good will also be diminished if not vanquised entirely.
They will say they believe in God over money but actions will speak louder than words as they did in leading us into economic catastrophe.
If you don't know by now....
