As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

If The Election Is Romney's Make It A Mandate With Paul Ryan

The reason Romney and the Republicans selected Paul Ryan for the vice-presidential running mate is the same reason Karl Rove has been so giddy as of late. They all full well know that unlimited corporate campaign money will rule the day when it is all over and so if the election is to be Romney's they must maximize the opportunity by putting in a running mate that gives the appearance of a mandate and most fulfills the economic philosophy of the corporate rich and powerful. Tactically the last thing Romney should want in the debate is someone who magnifies and exposes the Republican drive to eliminate medicare and serve the rich as the selection of Paul Ryan does but if  the electorate can be run over and seduced with unlimited TV ads then why worry about Ryans budget that essentially plans to end Medicare as we know it? Why not put in the guy that will benefit their plans most by giving the appearance of a mandate from the public? That is exactly what they are doing with Ryan.

Just as Romney subdued his opponents in the primary elections, when all evidence, recent sentiment and pre-super pac TV ad polls showed the Republican party demanded a much more conservative candidate, Romney's super pac billions will again flow into TV ads with the result of the money giving the election to Romney.

They believe that same course can be followed this fall when corporations and the rich put everything they can into the elections meaning millions upon millions of dollars into super pacs pushing Romney and trashing Obama but especially trashing Obama. They also remember the campaign against Kerry in 2004 and they believe with unlimited money and unlimited ads they can repeat that shameful feat except that this time they can pummel Obama mercilessly if necessary. And that is the reason the Obama campaign has been trying to cast Romney in a negative light early is so that the Democrats's lesser money will have it's maximum impact early in hopes that later billions injected by the Republicans will have less chance of changing that prior impression of Romney. In face of the money it is Obama's only hope.

But imagine that. We have unleashed unlimited money from the rich to decide elections.  The politicians outside the money are doing every thing they can to offset it and the politicians in the money are getting ready for the party and money's bought mandate.

But don't mistake this is not a call to give up. This is a call to wake up and do what can be done, sign a petition or whatever to stop those with the most money from telling the rest of us how we will live. To some extent this is how we have been living but you haven't seen anything yet if the new unlimited political money has it's way.

Relevant to the near future we still have an easy choice: God or money. God loves and cares for people. He doesn't worship markets and He doesn't want you to either.
