As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

Republican Opposition To Obamacare Medicaid Based On Record Profits For Rich?

Republicans in the House of Congress and Southern Republicans court an ideology that is resistant to policies like Medicaid expansion or Head Start that would ameliorate the plight of the poor but if wages have not improved for the average worker while profits have skyrocked for business over the last 20 years, what in the world is the justification for an ideology favoring tax cuts for business at the cost of the poor that is supposed to spur improvement for the poor.
Does anyone realize just how absurd and pathetic the promotion of this ideology is against the backdrop of reality, how pathetic the excuse is to use it? The Republican right pull and tug and strain at every gnat to oppose expansion of medicaid healthcare relief to their states on the notion that those tax dollars could be cut and channeled through the economy to business and for what? To continually extend stagnant wages for workers and record profits for business? I could laugh till i died if it wasn't so serious.

And the House Republicans of course come down on the side of keeping American workers bound up to and under the corporate thumb. Obamacare will actually free workers to pursue the livelihood that they truly desire with health insurance instead of being compelled to stay at a company where they can only get health insurance. This could actually start an entreprenurial revolution that could propel the economy forward riding formerly bound up ideas into the arena of innovation but the House Republicans are not working to free up worker innovation, they are working to continue record profits for corporations.

The media never truly characterize the blatant blackhearted hypocrisy of the Republican right, they just roll it off as the legitimate opposing opinion of a reasonable political party.

The House right now has the votes to pass a clean budget bill to re-open the government but the House Republican leadership will not allow the vote because they the House Republicans will not get their way and that just about says it all.
These particular Republicans are just sniveling indifferent silver spooned suck ups to the rich.

Yea, sometimes it just feels good to say it like it is.
