Now these days we are hearing of increasing cases where people do not want their siblings marrying outside of political ideology. Can you believe that? We have all heard of the issue with marrying outside religion or race or even nationality but it is just a testimony to the degree of our increasing political polarization when we start hearing more and instances of these objections based on political ideology. There is no doubt we are getting way too inflated in our self-righteousness and obsessed with politics when it starts coming down to objecting to marriage partners over political ideology.
I submit that self-serving politicians over several decades are solely responsible for this and it is clear that the rising tide of political polarization and tribalism rests at the feet of these politicians that have manipulated the public with fear, hate, resentment and have stoked the spirit of grievance. And they have done this for their own political gain. America is being very seriously divided over selfish political gain.
Politicians with the help of intolerant groups that demonize any dissent where everyone must be in agreement on basic politics are one of the primary architects behind the rise of the polarized climate we have today. If just one side, either one, begins this type of public manipulation the polarization will grow and over time the other however resistant to this will eventually begin to demonize the other sides demonizing tendencies and then we are off to the races. Can a group be blamed for strongly resisting the tactics of fear, hate and paranoia? No, but it is difficult with regard to human nature to keep such a rising state of conflicts on the "straight and narrow".
A lot of this can be laid at the feet of politicians that manipulate and exploit using identity politics. The media has a hand in this also exacerbating the situation from both sides so it's not all the politician.
We must all come together as individuals mostly free of stupid emphasis on outward identity. Just because others use it we must be smarter than giving into using it. We are people with ideas, minds and conscience from within. We are judged by God and intelligent people according to our inward character and soul. Any significant outward emphasis is the source of power and playground for the exploiting, manipulative politician. We have a brain, we need to use it and get credit for using it.
Actually I can only blame politicians so much as you would think that most people would eventually observe themselves from an outward observation and see their participation in such stupid actions and behavior but it is clear that the politicians never let up. As long as they can see that perpetuating this climate benefits them they continually stoke that fire so that even those within these groups that begin to see their folly quickly are put back down.
From my observation and maybe I'm wrong but we, the media, the anyone or anything that really cares bout this country and it's integrity should call out, shame, make fun of the bought off with dirty money, manipulating politician particularly the scurrilous politicians that manipulate and divide with fear, hate, racism and the brood of darker human emotions.
For years I have wondered why this desperately needed climate of shaming politicians has not manifested itself the way it should. There is absolutely no excuse for not doing it because we see others close to us do it or even we have done it. There is a standard that must be held up if there is going to be any honor, integrity or ethical principle left in this country.
We are seriously going down the road to a nation the likes of a banana republic or worse and I can tell you the worse is a real impending possibility with the rise of increasing censorship on political free expression and mass surveillance and the seemingly plethora of unwise foresight in any number of matters. I do believe our Pentagon and Homeland Security look well ahead in many matters and have most of those covered but it is these concerns I list here that can easily slip up on us and turn-key our world from the inside into a place you nor your children will want to be.
It all comes down to a house divided or house together working together.
It comes down here to wisdom and foresight.
