As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

Election Comments & Other Observations

So a major hurricane is headed toward the gulf to introduce the Republican convention. And as a little reminder of past neglect it is headed for New Orleans as the Republican convention begins but then that too may not be enough so it is on a course to hit New Orleans on the same day George W. Bush is to give his convention speech.
Is there an exclamation mark in here somewhere? Will they be searching their souls in Minnesota realizing there is only One who can set such timing. Bush should cancel his speech and leave Minnesota to go own up to his responsiblities and priorities. And above all pray. All of us.

It is a sorry day that when the first ever black presidential candidate gives the speech of his life, a speech for all people and all minorities drawing a line from Martin Luther King to today, that some desperate white politician seeks to steal the spotlight from him before the next day is out. Recent Republican presidents have considered trying to obscure the Democrats convention message from the public a dishonorable act never mind here the historical weight of a first black candidate but I guess McCain's case for experience is not the only thing going out the window.
