All the bowl of pits stircrying around going on now is not new. When Abraham Lincoln resolved to free the slaves, states all across the south, stuck in their backward, fearful self-centered ways, said they would sue the government, block the law and you know the rest of the sob story. When social security and medicare was passed right-wing politicians and their states threatened to file law suits and succede the union and when the civil rights law was passed in 1964....yep you guessed it, all and more of the above. But in all my time in this world I don't think I have ever seen so much sourpuss pouty mouthed crybaby whining like I see coming from the Republicans today. What a bunch of vindictive spoiled rich kid brats that didn't get their way in service to the wealthy and powerful, LOL!! What's next? are they going to start banging their heads on the floor of congress because their sacred cashcow misguided political ideology has been corrected.
Servitude to money corrupts a soul and what a glaring example of this we see today in the Republican reaction to passage of the healthcare bill. A bill that provides help and relief to millions of Americans the Republicans do not relate to, the people who do not have the money to have the kind of political voice the Republicans regard and so the reaction is... a tantrum. If you thought you had seen pathetic you can be sure you have seen it now coming from the right. They are whining we'll get you back, we'll repeal this bill and so all I can say is please make that a promise and make my day. Two things to remember; No Republicans supported this bill and they promise to repeal it. Remember, because come November, like mama's poor baby, they won't.
