As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

A Return To The Rightwing Is A Return To Idiocracy

Well we don't have to wait for the future to get dumbed down. We've got a present movement in the nation that wants to return to favors for the rich, favors for oil, favors for anyone with the dough to pay. A movement that wants a return to -
- Republican government that favors secret spying on US citizens; favors torture, so displaying its lack of character when the going gets tough,
- a government that squandered global goodwill after 9-11 for an ignorant invasion of a beaten down country,
- a government that would give over major metropolitan port security to a former friend of terrorists because...they have oil money influence,
- a government that drags its feet on it's own people it swore to protect in the Hurricane Katrina natural disaster because those people are not so rich, so influential, so white and priviledged,
- a government that sold it's soul to E street and Jack Abramoff,
- a government that pretends an ideology when it is really arrogant idolatrous service to the rich and if it had it's own way would continually oppose wise regulation of Wall Street, health insurance companies and offshore oil drilling but maybe worst of all would oppose reform of campaign finance corruption because the reform would remove the wealthy's means of influence, the bribery, the buy offs that prevent your will and your voice from being manifest along with necessary regulation of corporate recklessness and all this from those who would call themselves christian, right and responsible.
It is an "ideology" exposed built around the priorities of money instead of the priorities of people. Call it a return to oligarchy, a return to plutocracy, call it corporatocracy but whatever you call it, call it on it's own level. Call it what it is, a backward shadow of something worse, a return to Idiocracy.

Vote Republican and the future is a no-brainer.

Rightwing ideology in the extreme, I fear, ultimately leads to an extreme polarization of a population. That is to say, the disparity between "rich" and "poor." See: Bolshevik and French revolutions

One could say the same about extreme leftwing policy. See: Tea Party movement and the German Chancellor's latest comments.

The Chancellor's comments are one thing but the Tea Party is, in my opinion not much more than the reaction of the spoiled rich reacting to a burp from the left. The Obama administration has compromised so many of it's proposals that it almost mirrors what the rightwing was offering only a few years ago, i.e. healthcare reform and the watering down of the financial reform bill.
Wise balance is of course the key to it all.
