As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

Edward Snowden Is A National Hero For Exposing Lying & Spying

A government that lies to it's people in order to spy on it's people that can only be possible by repealing key parts of our foundational Bill of Rights is an immoral and unethical government at least according to the spirit of our nation . One can fully argue in that light that Edward Snowden is a hero. Our government lied to us in order to spy on us and now it has the gall to vigorously pursue the one that brought all this to light. Technically all this spying is legal only because our congress, our representatives betrayed us and they and the NSA should be ashamed of themselves, not self-righteously pursuing Snowden but the NSA must try to steer public opinion by this action. Don't you be manipulated by it.

A lot is on the line here. Today it is terrorists or criminals, tomorrow it could be your politics or simply your advocacy of religious opinion but in any event the government of the United States should not be able to track and listen to your phone calls or e-mails and be sure they do listen if they find key words. Today the key words are bomb or Abdullah, tomorrow plutocracy or public assembly. You stand your ground now against the fear of terrorists that begats facism so that you have that ground when this nation will invariably enter very trying times with tyrants at every corner waiting for their despotic chance.

The bottom line is your governent lied to you in order to spy on you and on a massive scale. Because our cowered to fear congress passed this secret legislation doesn't make it a good law. In 1776 the British also had laws they wanted to force on us. We didn't think they were good laws and we did something about it. The least we can do today is support a lone man standing with his conscience.

In my opinion Edward Snowden was motivated by the same spirit that motivated our founding fathers. He feels like I do or millions of other Americans feel about this. What he did because of our immoral congress is technically illegal but he acted out of conscience and concern for the dark road this country is headed down. The Patriot Act must be repealed and the growing mega surveillence network under construction must be impinged.

Most importantly remember this; Many experts have testified that the most important investigative work that has foiled the most and worst terrorist activity is the boots on the ground, personal investigative activity such that was used to catch Osama Bin Laden, not the invasion of privacy insanity of the NSA and so therein the sinister nature of a purported necessity for this NSA spying.

I submit that Edward Snowden is much closer to being our hero than any kind of criminal.

We are not that afraid! 100% security for an invasive dishonest government? No thanks.

Consider and wake up-
- You are 17,600 times more likely to die from heart disease than from a terrorist attack
- You are 12,571 times more likely to die from cancer than from a terrorist attack
- You are 11,000 times more likely to die in an airplane accident than from a terrorist plot involving an airplane
- You are 1048 times more likely to die from a car accident than from a terrorist attack
- You are 404 times more likely to die in a fall than from a terrorist attack
- You are 87 times more likely to drown than die in a terrorist attack
- You are 13 times more likely to die in a railway accident than from a terrorist attack
- You are 12 times more likely to die from accidental suffocation in bed than from a terrorist attack
- You are 9 times more likely to choke to death on your own vomit than die in a terrorist attack
- You are 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than by a terrorist
- You are 8 times more likely to die from accidental electrocution than from a terrorist attack
- You are 6 times more likely to die from hot weather than from a terrorist attack

And so in light of that do you want to suspend the hard fought for Bill Of Rights and allow the spying on of all our phone calls and e-mails? Raise up and clear those eyes sleeper.

I would be more afraid of my own Government than I am of a bunch of cowards hiding in mud huts and caves but I think I am really more afraid of any of us that allow all this to proceed.
