This is of course why i like President Obama, his concern for the working class and the in-roads in the effort to push back on the blockheaded policies of the Bush presidency that gave corporate America every advantage over average citizens but the downward pressure against that appeal of Obama has been immense in recent months. Pressure such as the Obama administration's clearing of the way for use of domestic drones and the secret spying on all of our communications is even more chilling and an outright lie and broken promise about overturning Bush's wrongheaded over-reactionary establishment of a continental surveillence network.
The effort to pursue Edward Snowden who reminded Obama of his sins is such hypocrisy it is hard to imagine what else our government could rationalize in the effort to combat crime and terrorists. Calling back Snowden to be tried for spying has to be the most ironic action of our government in the last century only to be exceeded by the incarceration of Japanese American nationals during World War II. The true words would be blatant hypocrisy. Trying Snowden for spying when what he did was blow the whistle on the governments real spying on all of us is ludicrous but with the backdrop that national surveillence spying is not even needed makes this all something closer to sinister.
This president continues to allow himself to be used to milk the excuse of 9-11 for every covert, secret action that rightwing government and law enforcement entities want to try to establish a crimeless world.

You have a much greater chance of being killed in hundreds of everyday events in this country than you do dying in a terrorist incident but are you or have you ever condoned amending the Bill of Rights and setting up a national surveillence spy network because of any of those every day events.
