As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

Wisconsin Protest Not About Wages, It's About Rights

It is Friday, February 18, 2011 ----- All Democratic senators have fled the state capitol to stop the vote because the Republicans are trying to end all collective bargaining rights for government workers.
For the last 10 years corporations, who if not for Republican voted subsidies and corporate tax loopholes would be funding their fair share to government, have been making record profits while the gap between rich and poor has been growing. This should not be a problem but...

... the protest is not about the money..

********IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY, IT'S ABOUT THE RIGHTS********

...It's about the Republicans trying to eliminate collective bargaining rights of the workers.

But the establishment media(CNN, FOX, the networks and of course the nearly total rightwing neural network control of radio talk) are trying to portray the protest as being about wages and benefits in order to turn the American people against the government workers of Wisconsin using reports trying to compare government workers wages with private sector wages. Wage per wage the private sector makes more but overall, counting benefits, government workers come out slightly ahead but....THAT IS NOT WHAT THE PROTEST IS ABOUT. This is about protesting a government body trying to eliminate the right to bargain period. Wisconsin government workers have already made significant concessions to Republican govenor Walker but it was not enough.

Once again the Republicans are showing their weakness for facist tendency as they did in eliminating parts of the Bill Of Rights installed to protect the citizenry and curtailing privacy rights resulting in the ability to spy on all Americans with surveillence cameras now installed nearly everywhere. Now once again with their aversion to citizen's rights and fully immersed in their false anti-government ideology the Republicans want to completely eliminate collective bargaining rights for government workers in Wisconsin trying to start a tide of such decisions across the country. If the Republicans had their way they would reduce worker wages so that few competent people would apply for government work thereby neutering government's effectiveness. It is all part of the ideological rightwing plan to put the nation in the hands of money and the private sector and make the government a sideshow but we saw the fruit of such ideology in the total economic collapse of 2008 didn't we!

Government is not a sideshow - Romans 13: 1-7

GO TO THE WISCONSIN STATE CAPITOL IN MADISON AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE TRUTH!

And I should add that the Tea Party will be there Saturday to counterprotest the workers protesting to protect their own rights but the Tea Party surely didn't understand the purpose of the protests. That would be bad P.R., more like pig P.R.
You don't undercut someone protesting in order to save their own bargaining rights. To the Tea Party one has to ask; where in the world is your sense of discernment when it comes to what is honorable and dishonorable?
