How long do the American people have to be left in the box of having to work for corporations in order to get health insurance? Corporate America benefits from workers having to come groveling to them to get a job for healthcare benefits with the result of workers ending up doing something they never really wanted to do or are not happy doing.
Health insurance provided outside the corporate structure is of course mobile meaning it goes with you wherever you go. This not only helps insure poor struggling families but the mobile aspect frees up people to pursue the livelihood they always wanted to pursue or want to pursue. As it is now people become slaves to the corporate structure that will put people wherever they want to put them and don't tell me you can work in whatever position you want to work in, you go where they need to put you often without ever knowing what will come next, been there done that, and more than once or twice.

In other words people should have a choice to pursue their own ambitions without being bound up for life by the ever threatening loss of health insurance due to health needs.
True freedom and what should be the character of the American dream is in being able to pursue the kind of work, the kind of livelihood that is compatible with who you are, with what your talents are and with what actually makes you happy. Sure, people will still have to get jobs that come along when they need them but they will not have to stay in such jobs for health coverage, they will be able to leave and pursue the work of their choice when the time for it comes along. The point being that many livelihoods people desire to pursue do not provide for health insurance and being able to easily afford health insurance with health insurance reform will free people to pursue their dreams. As it is now millions of American workers with health needs are in a lock of having to work for a corporation because without that corporation they have no health insurance or no real chance of affording health insurance.
Health care reform not only brings the morality of helping to cover low income people but also the blessing of allowing your healthcare to go with you so that you will be able to pursue the line of work you were made to pursue. Health care reform will bless this nation in many ways and will make people truly feel like they are cared for as part of a larger community and in such communities bonds form that help keep people from falling away into crime and drugs and hopelessness.
It is far from a panacea but in adopting healthcare reform you will see a kind of healing in this nation that cannot be brought with any amount of money. Give it time. You will see.
