Many Christians have vowed not to vote for Mitt Romney because he belongs to a religious cult and there is of course major precedent for this.
For decades fundamentlist evanglicals have fully understood that the Mormons and the Jehovah's Witnesses are religious cults, make that almost all protestant Christian denominations have considered both of them religious cults. Anytime the religious right would get together they often loved telling of stories how they confronted and warded off the Mormons and the Jehovah's Witnesses anytime they would come knocking on their doors. Most of the time they tell how they argued that Jesus Christ was the only son of God endowed with the full authority of God and with that the Mormons and the Jehovah's Witnesses went a running. Would you have asked them at the time they would have adamantly swore they would not vote for a Mormon or a Jehovah's Witness. The rationale was that people in religious cults are very open to demonic influence and that rationale clearly has credibility if the history of the Mormons and their false prophet are any indication. All Christians of the religious right fully agreed that Joseph Smith was a false prophet and the angel Moroni of which he saw in a vision was a fallen angel or demon. I also have always believed this and still do.
So take heed and make no mistake, true Christians must not vote for a leader from a religious cult for president of the United States. It is surely better you stay home for this one.
Moreover you or many like you all across this nation and especially many in Christian leadership have already vowed they could not vote for Mitt Romney because specifically he is a devoted leader from a religious cult. They made this vow when they thought they had God's anointed choice in the form of Rick Perry but their so-called anointed choice seriously and embarrassingly wilted on the vine of simple political debate. Those Christians concerned have already made one embarrassing mistake, surely you do not want to make another.
One more thing. The word of God says that it rains on the sinner and saint alike but it also says that God controls the wind. Do you really think that God sent record setting Superstorm Sandy to New York and New Jersey in order to confound President Obama's bid for president and just didn't know that what really was going to happen was that Obama would be seen as a responsible, just and compassionate leader gaining praise from his strongest critic, Republican Governor Chris Christie and then be endorsed by Republican Mayor of NewYork Michael Bloomberg all which in effect shut up the campaigning poison tongue of Romney and the Republicans?
Of course you dont' think that. You know that you must not vote for religious cult leader Mitt Romney for president. Truly it's best to just stay home on this one.
