Hurricane Issac cut off the first day of the Republican convention which was the day Romney was to be nominated as the Republican candidate for president and took the vitriolic sheen off most of their convention. Hurricanes have plagued the Republicans ever since Hurricane Katrina.

It will demonstrate responsible government of which God approves and being the heretofore kind of unknown super-storm it is appears to be a warning that we are at a kind of crossroads concerning government. If nothing else it is certainly a gift to Obama to showcase his responsible leadership and in effect put a muzzle on the Republicans poison tongue.
