The Absurd Air Of Legitimacy Hovering Around Republicans Apparent Growing Support Of Trump's Wall

The Republican's position just weeks prior show that from the right there was no and is no justification for Trump's border wall. The consensus within those ranks already indicated the wall is not and should not be a priority nor even seriously pursued. The case is already settled and the Republican Senate already voted on opening the government without the wall and Trump agreed to it. The only caveat?

Extremist right-wing Fox pundits are attempting to influence 

operation of the U.S. government.

And why is that happening? 

Because Trump has given them the authority to do so by caving in to their will 

and carrying out their will.

So what is now the justification for a border wall? Little or nothing just as it was before and about as  rational as his 4 year birther crusade. 

One thing is very clear. The opponents of the wall, the Democrats and or Independents need to articulate the absurdity of Trump's demand for a wall and if what seems to be happening is happening, the absurdity of Republicans lining up behind Trump all based on...right-wing extremists influence and an old Trump campaign promise used by Trump for nothing more at the time but to corral the conservative fearfulness of foreigners, outsiders, Them, not-whites, whatever into his voting bloc.

When the facts on possible threats from immigrants at the border are parsed out this hyper-inflammatory supposed need for a wall will be a laughingstock.  

Any zombie-like lining up of Republicans behind Trump on this will be a laughingstock all except to those that supported sending over 9000 troops to the border pre-midterm election.

To those, the unfolding events will get a bit more serious.
