The FCC after disengenously holding town meetings to get the publics opinion on their new ownership proposal goes ahead on Dec. 18th and passes the new ownership rules anyway, that is passes the new rules after strong public opposition to the proposal. Yes, after clear opposition from the public the FCC passes the proposal anyway. Obviously the FCC was hoping to catch everyone under the "christmas influence" and find little or no attendance to their so called town meetings and so must have been quite shocked to see the turnout and stiff opposition but as we see never intended to do anything but pass the new media rules for the benefit of enlarging the corporate media's ownership and control of our public discourse. The FCC's final statement on the proposal was all but fully written even before holding the public meetings. The FCC again ignores the peoples voice and choice for the peoples airwaves and along with our present administration moves us all encremental step by encremental step toward to a controlled society where your opinion is unconsidered.
