As in the song "Lawyers In Love" we have a land, a nation with too many in high places willing to do anything for money neglecting people, honor and principle but a change is coming. No more falling for the lie of living only individualistic and independent lives leaving us divided and conquerable by powerful special interests but a people, a nation collaborating for the greater common good in various groups all across the nation. A land of people working together to help one another with a vision moreover as Jesus would have us be. Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness....something about another Land. The change is coming

Today Is A Good Day For America!

This endeavor is not finished but the most contentious part is: Obamacare is legal and constitutional.

some comments from the internet-

Well done to Mr. Obama – and to the country regarding the Affordable Care Act being upheld. America is now on the path to becoming a normal, civilized country with affordable healthcare for all rather than a society where only the rich can get first-class coverage.
Of course Republicans – party of the plutocrats – will hate this, as they believe it will require higher taxes for the rich and will ultimately necessitate cutting our obscene “defense” budget, which costs as much as the rest of the world’s combined. Of course they are right, and that is cause enough to celebrate!

-----------------------------------

Healthcare in America is a disaster. It’s the most expensive in the world, we cover a smaller percentage of our population than any other developed country in the world, and in no other country are millions forced into bankruptcy due to healthcare costs. Every year Americans die due to inadequate healthcare. And yet despite these shameful and unacceptable statistics, people on the right choose to ignore the needs of the American people; choose to ignore America’s poor standing in the world when it comes to our healthcare; choose to ignore the rational need to rein in the most expensive healthcare costs in the world; choose to ignore any sense of moral, ethical, and religious responsibility; and why? Because the US healthcare system has been finely tuned to maximize profits for a few and those few contribute generously to the campaigns of the members of their political party. In return, office holders from their party fight to keep our current system intact, while telling their rightwing constituents that our current system is the best in the world and ANY attempt to change it amounts to socialism, and socialism was created by Satan. That’s it in a nutshell.

Republicans have had ample opportunity to improve our healthcare system, but they don’t want to. In fact, under Bush they even passed a law prevents government from negotiating for lower prescription drug prices. How crazy is that? Republicans claim that it’s fine the way it is. Obama tried and tried to get them to contribute to the Affordable Care Act, and to prove that he was sincere, he based his healthcare plan on one designed by a conservative member of the conservative think-tank the Heritage Foundation, a plan that the current Republican nominee for President implemented in Massachusetts, yet is now saying is so bad that he’s promising to repeal it on his first day in office if he’s elected President. Talk about some bogus thunder. In a normal, intelligent world Romney would be saying this is great, because it’s worked well in Massachusetts, and it can work well all over the country, as he, himself, has said. But no, that’s not the game plan. To be elected President he now has to be against his own plan. And there are people out there considering voting for this empty vessel.
Whether you like the ACA or not, everyone should appreciate a President who, against the advice of his own Chief of Staff on political grounds, decided to pursue a plan to improve healthcare for millions of Americans, and it most certainly does that, too much to list here, but: http://www.healthcare.gov/index.html.

The President took a bold move for the American people and people on the right condemn him for it because they’re told to. Be thankful you have a President who is willing to pay a political price to help the people, because I think everyone will agree that you won’t get that from Mitt Romney.

Today is a good day for America.

The indifference amongst our "royalty" to the disparity of our stagnate wage level to corporate record profits is disturbing. Medieval disparity may not be far down the road if we remain on our present trajectory.
Even more disturbing is how could we have been and continue to be such dupes for anything trickle down?
